Ultimate Cheese & Charcuterie Board
Master the art of assembling a stunning cheese and charcuterie spread that will impress at any gathering.
Instructions
Prepare the Board
Choose a large wooden board or slate. Remove cheeses from refrigeration 1 hour before serving to bring to room temperature for optimal flavor and texture.
Position the Cheeses
Place your three cheeses on different areas of the board, leaving space between each. The truffle brie should be whole, while the Comté and Manchego can be partially sliced or in wedges with a cheese knife.
Arrange the Charcuterie
Fan the Jamón Ibérico and fold the Prosciutto into loose rosettes. Place these near but not touching the cheeses. Create visual interest with different folding techniques.
Add the Accompaniments
Place small bowls of cornichons and mustard on the board. Position the honeycomb where guests can easily access it. Scatter Marcona almonds in clusters.
Fill with Fruits and Crackers
Tuck fresh figs (halved to show their beautiful interior), grapes, and dried apricots into the remaining spaces. Add crackers and sliced baguette around the edges.
Final Touches
Add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for color. Ensure each element is accessible and provide appropriate serving utensils for each item.
